Game Design
Go Go Galaxy is a game prototype/demo created for an in class, two week long Hackathon. I had pitched the game, and acted as Art Director for the project and created this game with six of my talented peers: Vivian Au, Elise Chen, James Collins, Brandon Lee, Yuna Moreno, and Cypress Sakaske. This game received an award by our professor for our class section.
You play an overworked hive drone trying to meet today’s near IMPOSSIBLE honey quota. If not…you will be FIRED, under a magnifying glass. Stakes are high and time is short, so you better get busy!
Bio Bugs
Bio Bugs is a collection of a strategy card game and a scavenger hunt for kids to teach them about native plants and insect in California gardens.
I designed the strategy card game where the goal is to build your garden to invite all sorts of cool creatures to help it thrive. I also illustrated the plants, the pollinator symbol, and the decomposer symbol.
Players will draw Starter Bugs to grow plants, and the plants will then give the players the opportunity to draw more Starter Bugs.
Once they have enough of the Starter Bugs, they can choose to grow the Specialty Plants in order to invite the Endangered Butterflies into their
garden.
